Pasta Marinara
Ingredients
4½ cups dry Bow pasta shells (gluten free if required)(300grams)
1 medium finely chopped onion (100grams)
2 tsp mono/polyunsaturated oil (10 grams)
1 tabsp water (20ml)
250 grams frozen Marinara seafood mix (thawed)
1 can tomatoes diced with herbs (415grams)
chopped parsley
Method
* Cook pasta in a large quantity of boiling salted water until a la dente or just soft.
* Stir fry onion in oil and water until golden.
* Add Marinara mix and stir-fry for 5 minutes more.
* Add canned tomatoes, stir-fry until heated through.
* Drain pasta and place in a large pasta bowl.
* Pour over sauce and garnish with chopped parsley.
*Serve with tossed salad and a homemade or commercial dressing.
