HOMMUS
A easy spread or dip that can be made in minutes
Ingredients
2 x 400 gram cans chick peas- drained and washed (600grams)
¼ cup Water (65ml)
¼ cup lemon juice (65ml)
2 cloves chopped garlic
3 tablespoon Tahini Paste (75grams)
1 teaspoon cumin
½ teaspoon salt
Method
Wash chick peas and rub softly to remove and discard any lose skins
Place chickpeas, water, lemon juice, chopped garlic, tahini paste and cumin in a food processor (or use a hand mixer)
Blend until smooth
Season with salt to desired flavour
The amount of water can be adjusted if dip is too thick
