Low Fat Custard Sauce
Ingredients
1/2 cup skim milk powder (50 grams)
1 tabsp sugar or substitute (18 grams)
1 tabsp custard powder (10 grams)
1/2 cup cold water (125 ml)
1 1/2 cups boiling water.(375 ml)
Method
Beat milk powder, sugar, custard powder and water together.
Add boiling water and beat until smooth.
Cook and stir in saucepan on stove or in a jug in the microwave until thick and smooth.
Cover and keep warm. Covering with plastic wrap prevents a skin from forming.
