How to lose weight without dieting
Dieting doesn't work. Many overweight people say they have tried it all. They have gone to Weight Watchers International, Easy Slim, Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers Federation , followed their favourite diet in books such as Liver Cleansing, Fit for Life, The Zone Diet or ones from popular magazines. They are still over weight and looking for the magical cure.
If dieting doesn't work, what does?
Permanent changes in eating habits can work. A dietitian can help with this. First, you need to know why you sometimes over eat. Fill in the questionnaire and pinpoint the problem areas where you would answer yes.
WHY YOU EAT
Nervous Tension \ Upset \ Depression

Try to practice relaxation - swim, listen to music, go for a walk, meditate.

Think of past successes in your life. How did you succeed? Use this knowledge to help you win control over food. Believe in yourself and ask for support from your family and friends.

Set routines at meal times and plan non-food activities to enjoy during non-productive and leisure time.
Psychological Hunger

Eat slowly and stop when l you are satisfied. Be mindful of what you are eating.
